The joys and hopes, the grieves and the anxieties of all human beings of this age, especially those who are poor or in any way afflicted, these are the joys and hopes, the grieves and anxieties of the followers of Christ.

Beijing human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng was taken from his home in Shaanbei (northern Shaanxi Province) on 4 February 2009. He has now been disappeared for one year. We call on everyone to continue demanding that the Chinese government disclose Gao Zhisheng’s whereabouts. more...
